New things are happening at Inklings Designs

A new breeze has blown in my window at Inklings Designs! I am now creating Embellished Purses. Each one of these beautiful purses are hand embellished with beads, trim, and other pretties! It takes about two to three weeks to finish each one. These "art pieces" are one of a kind and made just for you. There is so much attention to detail that the pictures just don't do them justice. Once a purse is sold it is no longer available so hurry and get yours now!!! Go to http://www.inklingsdesigns.com/category_48/Embellished-Purses.htm for information on each one.
Also, Please don't forget to sign up for my newsletter. You might win that drawing next week if you do!!! Thanks
See you there,

Tis The Season...Mardi Gras Season that is!

Down here on the Gulf Coast up thru the Mississippi River, we all celebrate Mardi Gras.

Mardi Gras is French for "Fat Tuesday" or "Shrove Tuesday". It is the last day of feasting before Lent and this year it falls on Tuesday, February 24 th.

The "Season" is typically celebrated from Epiphany thru Ash Wednesday with Colorful Parades, Floats, Beads, Trinkets, King Cakes, Masks, Balls, and Moon Pies! Krewes plan these events all year long with fund raisers etc.

You may not be able to come to New Orleans or Mobile so I have created this beautiful Wreath to celebrate Mardi Gras no matter where you may live. You can find it on my website @ www.inklingsdesigns.com.

Enjoy life!
