You just never know what tomorrow will bring.

I have never witnessed someone home burn to the ground. Last week I witnessed just that. It took a fast 20 minutes and it was all gone. A lifetime of memories for a family, a loving home. The elderly gentleman who was the owner, lived there with his son and grandson and their dog. They all got out safe and I heard him say, "you just never know what life will bring your way". We need to live each day as it is our last. Be kind to others and enjoy what blessings we have...today. You just never know what tomorrow will bring.

Oh how utterly devastating! I'm so afraid of fire. I've witnessed this kind of thing twice in my life and both times it rocked me to my core. The first time was a mobile home I was about to rent when I was 19 years old, the people told me not to move my stuff in yet that they had shampooed the carpets, but I decided to go have a look at the place again before bI was supposed to move only to find the place engulfed in flames. Arson! They had burned it themselves for insurance - I was so glad I didn't finalize anything with them, and of course they did not get away with it. What scared me so much was that they put candles in a closet with newspapers so that it would catch fire after they were gone long enough to establish an alibi. I could have so already have been there when it started! Anyway - your message is SO TRUE - Live like it's your last day for sure, you really don't know what tomorrow will bring.
LOVE YOU INKA!

That is scary Dianne. You were so lucky you did not move in early. Love you too. Seeing this has really bothered me and made me think about a lot of things in my life.
