The pampas grass and sea oats are in bloom!
This Pecan has already left its protection and fallen to the ground. I found some that were ready to eat and boy were they good. The meat on this tree was very sweet!
This Pecan Tree was loaded. It will be a good harvest this fall!
I love all of God's Creations. This little visitor was out for the sunshine.
We still have lots of flowers in bloom down in the South.
A nice late afternoon right before sunset with friends at the beach.
Kudzu! It is all over the South. My Grandmother used to say it will cover the earth! LOL
Beautiful flowers.
Ah and don't forget the Love Bugs!!! They swarm in the spring and fall. Yuck
In the ole Cotton Fields back Home!
The cotton is ready for pickin. It usually takes about 3 picks as it does not all come in at the same time.
Well it is fall in the south and I just wanted to share with some of my friends all over the country what it feels like down here. There is not much of a chill in the air but there is not much humidity either. That is a blessing. We still have a lot of flowers blooming until after Christmas and the sun shines most of the time. There is cotton to pick and pecans and citrus to harvest. What is fall like in your part of the country?

The bugs are horrifying!! I remember them when my Mom and Dad lived down there, yeech! The rest is so beautiful. I look at all that and think, hmmm, well that would be pretty dried and in potpourri!

Forget Me Not Dreams
Inka you really get to me. You are so connected to what is important in life. Thank You for your post. Lilli
Inka - What beautiful pix! In California we don't really have seasons like other parts of the US. It's slighly cooler in the morning and the evenings but still warm enough that we don;t have to turn on the furnace yet.
Kudzu and cockroaches will be the only things alive at the end of the world!!
Heyyy Inka...your photos are my photos ! Your fall is my fall.

Oh, your tall pine trees remind me of South Alabama. When I mention pine straw up here in Michigan people don't understand what I'm talking about. I don't miss raking but I miss those beautiful big pine cones.
Thank you for your reply to my MMP introduction. I'm at a total loss as to how to use the forum. I do use spoonflower, just began about two weeks ago. Now I'd love to learn how to get around MMP. The forum thing confuses me a bit.
Your blog is lovely.
