Inklings Designs takes you on a drive along the Gulf Coast for Show and Tell

I just returned from a wonderful long weekend in Mexico Beach, FL. Southern Cruiser Bike Club had a bike rally there this weekend to earn money for St. Jude Hospt. in Memphis. We did some wonderful riding along the Gulf Coast and the views from our hotel room were beautiful. We rode to St. George Island past Historic Apalachicola. The weather was beautiful and the seafood was fresh! I just wanted to share the beach with you! Hope you enjoy it. Most of these pictures were taken from the back of Tom's Harley, except the ones on the beach.

View from our room!

And YES...I did get a massage!! WOW what a treat!!

On St. George Island

Inside of Indian Pass Trading Post

Wow the sunsets!

I did a lot of shelling

The water is still about 80 degrees...very warm

Love all the different birds

A little morning fishing

Got Crabs?

Well that's all folks!

Just gorgeous! As I am shoveling wood into the woodstove, I think I could do with a winter vacation (and it's only October!)

The Southern Cruisers Riding Club is a Free, Family Oriented Motorcycle Riding Club that uses the Web to communicate and focuses on the Enjoyment and Fellowship of Riding Motorcycles while doing so Safely. The Driving or riding in Gulf coast is thrilling and dangerous. Riding on the crushed rocks, sometimes moving forward but mostly slipping sideways. There were routes, officially sanctioned bike touring roads and there were also routes which were easier.
