Living on the Gulf Coast we are no strangers to Hurricanes and Tropical Storms. Hurricane season starts June 1st and ends November 30th. This year we have been blessed not to have already had a major storm. The end of last week, Tropical Storm Lee decided to visit the Gulf Coast and drop a little needed rain on our Labor Day Weekend. I love the beach and my favorite time to go is in the winter months or when there is a storm so after Church this morning we headed straight to the beach. There were still a lot of tourist in the main area and some wind surfers in the more private areas.
The road looks more like a snow covered road than sand...
Reminds me of when I lived in Virginia
It is amazing how the wind makes such cool designs in the sand
Powerful surf
Now that is a beach!
You had to be careful where you walked because of all of the Jellyfish that had washed up on shore
What beautiful cloud covering
You can't go to the beach without enjoying the birds.
Now wasn't that refreshing? Gotta love Mother Nature.
