Friends Reunion for Show and Tell Monday!

My friend from Virginia came down to visit a few weeks ago. Actually she moved to Tennessee a couple of years ago. We both lived in a very small town in Southwest Virginia when we met. I moved to Florida 4 years ago and we have kept in touch. She came down with her husband and daughter for vacation and she now has a brand new son. Isn't he beautiful? My little Isabella thinks so too. We got together a couple of times while she was down here soaking up the sun on our pretty white sand beaches. We even went fishing. It was so good to be with old friends again. I sure do miss her.

Old friends are the best. It's so hard to keep in touch these days. I'm sure it was great to see her.

Old friends are the best and it's so hard when you live so far apart. Of course, that's what makes the visits even more wonderful.

It's so nice to be with old friends. I find it amazing that you fall back into the comfortable companionship so fast and easy. Like you never were apart.

I'm glad you enjoyed her visit,

Hi Inka!

Awww...what a sweet picture. It sounds like you had a wonderful time with your friend. And what a handsome baby! It's amazing how time flies and we don't get to see to see our friends from afar as often as we would like to. And thank God for cameras! lol So glad you had a good time and thanks for sharing.

This is a very cute picture. Thanks so much for showing us such a great time. It was so nice to pick up right where we left off. You have always been such a great friend. As I scrolled through the "My Favorite Things" section of your blog, I remember us enjoying so many of these things together. Remembering our early morning walks on the Creeper Trail, going out to hunt for a Christmas tree, going to the zoo, movies, softball games, or just hangin' out. No matter where we were or what we were doing, you can bet that we were giggling about something. I miss ya girl! Your always welcome at my home when your ready to come home to the mountains. Love Ya!
