Show and Tell Monday!!! " Georgia on My Mind"!!

My sweetie Tom and I went to the mountains of North Georgia to a bike rally this past week with our bike club. It was so good to be back in the mountains again and a great relief from the humidity of the Gulf Coast this time of the year. We stayed in Cartersville, GA where the rally was but we biked all over the area into AL, TN, and of course GA. There were folks from Southern Cruisers (our biking group) from all over and $20k was raised for St. Judes Hospital, our main charity. We made lots of new friends, laughed till I could not stand it any more and ate a lot of good country cooking! As you can tell by my pics that I love the countryside. I hope you enjoy the scenery.

Inka,
What a fun ride. And what a great cause. The open air, there is nothing like it. Thanks for the comments on my blog. The ornaments were all made by my cousin (alias Miss Sweetpea Pittypat).
Glad you had a nice getaway,

You are so soulful Inka. I love todays post. The tree shot is my favorite. The exposed roots and the ones going deep into the earth that we can't see. Wonderful! love, Lilli
